About Me

In June 2009, my friend convinced me to join Weight Watchers with her. My starting weight was 256.6. That number scared me, even though I didn't feel that big. That first weigh-in was the beginning of a lifestyle change. It's been a slow road with many bumps, but I'm slowly making progress towards my goal of 160. I've switched to calorie counting and I'm slowly trying to be a runner, which I never thought I would do.

I’m not sure what my issue is. The last week, I have been more emotional than I’ve been in awhile. Every movie, tv show and dance on SYTYCD turns me into mush. Granted, it was shark week but it has been out of control.
